What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) While enroute from sallsbury, NC to akron, oh (akr) at 23000 AGL, pilot declared an emergency over Charleston, WV, Vortac (hvq) due to loss of cabin pressure at 1811L. The pilot made an emergency descent to 11000 and continued to the intended destination without further incident, and landed at akr at 1849L. Subsequent investigation of the aircraft pressurization system revealed that the bleed air pressure regulator failed, resulting in the loss of cabin pressure. The failed unit was replaced with a serviceable overhauled unit, and the system was operational tested and found to be functional. A test flight was performed and the aircraft was returned to service. An m or d report will be submitted in reference to this event.
