From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot reported that the alternator failed on the right engine, and he performed a precautionary engine shut down and declared an emergency to the ontario int'l airport, ontario CA. The aircraft landed without incident, the engine was examined by an aircraft mechanic and it was determined that the drive coupling had sheared which caused contamination of the oil system. The mechanic flushed the engine and changed the alternator. The pilot flew the aircraft to long beach, CA for additional inspection and/or maintenance. The pilot indicated that the long beach maintenance facility would submit the malfunction and defect report.
