From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N267SP enroute savannah, GA., to Lincoln, NE., declared an emergency due to main hydraulic failure. Aircraft continued on to Lincoln, NE., wher e the crew used the emergency system to blow the gear down, and landed without incident. Maintenance found that there had been a dual hydraulic pump failure. The left engine hydraulic pump failed due to a seal failure and pumped oil overboard, then the right engine hydraulic pump failed due to lack of oil. The pumps are interconnected and the left pump drained the oil from the right pump.
