From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Colgan air, flight #5955, BE-1900-C, taxied out for departure at Boston and was offered the intersection of runway 22R at runway 15L. Pilot taxied into position and advised ATC they needed to get off and taxi full length for departure. Aircraft departed without incident at 2220 EST, 04/02/02. Upon landing at bar harbor Maine, it was discovered there was damage to the right propeller and damage to a runway light at Boston. During the post flight inspection the flight crew discovered damage to all four propeller blades and called the Boston tower to report they "might have" hit something before takeoff. Massport reported that during one of their "field checks" at approximately 0030-0100 the Boston tower requested the massport electricians check runway 22R for any debris. The massport electricians found a damaged edge light on runway 15L, left side at the intersection to runway 22R. privacy data omitted
