From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot stated he was about 15 feet in the air when very close to a stall when the left wing dropped and he added power to do a go around. The left bank of the aircraft had pointed the aircraft toward the trees. The pilot started a go around and decided to continue the turn because he could not get over the trees and tried to land the aircraft on the grass near the runway. The front nose wheel contacted the ground hard and broke the nose wheel off the aircraft and impact bent the nose strut back almost to the fuselage. The prop struck the ground under power. The prop tips were bent back. The aircraft hit both wing tips.
