From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) During approach to landing the pilot placed the gear handle down and noted that the green gear down light illuminated. There was no gear warning horn as he reduced power to land. The main gear touched down and the nose of the airplane settled to the runway. The nose gear had remained up and locked with the nose gear doors closed. Inspection by maintenance personnel revealed that with the master switch on and the main gear extended, nose gear retracted, that the green gear down light was on and the landing gear warning horn would not sound when the throttle was closed. Incident privacy data omitted is considered closed with this report.
