From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) ATC instructed N159KC to give way to a southbend Learjet on the runway 20-02 parallel taxiway and stay to the right of the parking area. N159KC was barely moving, and there was some discussion between the crew as to whether they could safely taxi between two parked aircraft. It became apparent that there was insufficient space for their airplane to safely pass between the parked aircraft. Before the pilot could bring the airplane to a stop, the left wing tip made contact with the radome of the an EMB-120 that cracked the fiberglass covering and scratching the paint of the left wing tip of N159KC. This incident, privacy data omitted is closed with this report.

As the FAA filed it

THIS INCIDENT, ^PRIVACY DATA ^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.
