From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) After landing on runway 05 successfully, both main landing gear collapsed as the aircraft was about to taxi onto the taxiway. There was minor damage to the airframe and the propeller. There will be a follow-up report when the aircraft is in a maintenance facility and it is determined why the landing gear collapsed. Follow-up inspection: revealed that the landing gear motor was intermittent and showed signs of overheating. The carbon brushes were also worn down enough to cause the motor to be intermittent. End of statement.
