From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) This was a 91 flight, had 4 friends on board, they flew for approx. 25 minutes, and landed they traded passengers, and took off again. The wind picked up and changed direction. The wind was blowing them toward a canyon. The pilot was concerned about flying up the canyon, but her only other alternative was to land in the trees, before she got to the canyon. She chose to land in the trees, there were no injuries. Damage to the balloon was minor.
