From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Log book entry indicates "hydraulic pump base gasket blown." Log book further indicates that the gasket was replaced, the engine was ground runned and no defects found. The aircraft once again took off for its original destination at 0730 hours and at about 2 hours and 15 minutes into its flight, once again declared an emergency, shut down #3 engine due to low oil pressure and returned to Ontario airport. Logbook write up only indicates that #3 engine was inspected and found safe for intended ferry flight.
