The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Helicopter was cleared to air taxi to the compass rose by the tower. This route of flight required the helicopter to fly behind the signature building on the airport. Due to gusty wind conditions and changing wind directions, the flight path behind the signature building encountered the downwind turbulence and the pilot could not control the hover taxi and settled with power until the helicopter landed on the skids. The helicopter rolled over on it's left side which resulted in substantial damage to the helicopter.
