From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On July 10, 2002, at 11:25, eastern daylight time, a Stinson 108-2, N390C, was substantially damaged when it struck a parked, YAK-55 aircraft. During an attempted takeoff from Lincoln Park Airport (N07), Lincoln Park, new jersey. The certificated private pilot received minor injuries. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time. No flight plan had been filed for the flight, from Lincoln Park to (N72) warwick, NY conducted under 14 CFR part 91. During the takeoff roll, the pilot felt the airplane was notaccelerating normally. The pilot "got it off the ground" by pulling back on the yoke, but still felt the airplane was not accelerating normally, so he raised the flaps. The airplane drifted off the left side of the runway and settled into the yak. The airplane then continued up an embankment, and came to rest partially on a road. According to the pilot he attempted to take off with only left magneto position. privacy data omitted
