What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) After aircraft was boarded, flight crew was completing the final paperwork, flight attendant alerted the crew of smoke in the cabin, when the captain noticed the smoke was heavy, could not see the lavatory from the cockpit. The captain told the flight attendant to notify the ground crew that the first officer was going to supervise the pax evacuation. The captain contacted the ground and had CFR dispatched. The captain shut all packs, APU bleed, gasper and recirculating fans as a precaution. CFR arrived within minutes and inspected aircraft with his crew using a thermo-imaging device. After pax evacuation, the flight attendant complained about chest pains, dizziness and looked pale.
