From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N705EV, Bombardier CL-600-2C10, being operated by atlantic southeast airlines as delta connection flight 4424, departed Omaha, NE, enroute to atlanta, GA. During climb the crew was unable to raise the gear. They declared an emergency, returned to Omaha, and landed without incident. Contract maintenance found that the scizzors link had not been properly connected. The nose gear was inspected for damage, scizzors link reconnected, high speed taxi run accomplished, and the aircraft was released for return to service. The contractor who handles ground handling gave the ramp employee remedial training.
