From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft went off west side rwy 32 @ Gardner airport. Began takeoff roll at beginning of rwy 36, due to ice and packed snow on first 100 feet, brought aircraft engine to 35 inches manifold pressure on a roll. Flaps set first notch (10). Upon reaching 70-75KTS, rotated at approx. mid field. Crab initiated for nnw wind approx 20-25 gusting. At approx. 2/3 down runway the wind dropped off, noticed airspeed decreasing, lowered nose slightly. Aispeed dropped slowly and aircraft settled. Left main gear caught snow back on west side of runway, pivoting plane to left. Aircraft slid sideways collapsing right main gear, and nose gear.
