Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On March 8, 2003, N670JW, an amateur built aircraft model kolb Firestar, made an emergency landing in an open field approximately 6 miles west of brown airfield airport (san) San Diego CA. The emergency landing was precipitated by loss of engine power during cruise flight. During the landing roll out the aircraft sustained substantial damage when it nosed over, coming to rest inverted. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The pilot stated that he heard a bang followed by vibration and a reduction in engine power. Investigation revealed that one propeller blade had split span wise (tip to root). NTSB has sent propeller to oem powerfin inc. arlington WA via seattle FSDO NM01. Attn: teresa butler-stoddard.
