From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot was performing touch-and-go landings at porter stolport, a private strip, near Jay, Florida. On the third touch-and-go landing with 2 notches of flaps selected the airplane bounced back in the air. The pilot maintained a tail down attitude and the airplane settled onto the ground. The pilot thought he could still land and committed to the landing roll, but lost directional control towards the left side of the runway. He applied differential braking and the airplane nosed over coming to rest about the middle of the runway near the departure end.
