From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) PIC cancelled IFR approximately 18 miles se plk. He continued inbound and entered a left base for runway 29; however, he neglected to extend the landing gear. According to the PIC, his daughter was screaming due to severe ear and sinus pain which distracted him. His headset and daughter's loud screaming precluded his hearing the aural gear warning horn. N231FB landed on runway 29 with the landing gear in the retracted position. The aircraft remained on the runway, and the occupants were able to egress without injury. After N231FB was removed from the runway, the airplane was lifted, battery power was applied, the gear warning horn sounded, and the landing gear was extended with the gear selector.
