From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated that after landing on runway 27 the lift dump devices failed to deploy after being selected. Pilot used the emergency brake to stop the aircraft before reaching the end of the runway. The aircraft came to rest about 300 feet from the end of the runway with the left main gear in soft ground and right main and nose on the pavement. Damage was limited to main gear wheels and tires and tailcone. Evidence indicated that the pilot may have landed downwind. Failure of the lift dump system has not been established at this time.
