From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated he was landing at a small Private strip near his home. He said the right wheel hit a soft spot on the edge of the narrow runway and went over on its back. He said after giving his statement to NTSB, he went back out and walked the runway and found that the sides were quite soft where shielded from the sun. He also said he had what he estimated as a 20 knot crosswind and may have pushed him over enough to put the wheel into soft ground. He said that brush is growing up all along the sides and encroaching onto the runway and he is closing it forever.
