From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) During flight, a flexible hydraulic hose, mounted from the right engine firewall to right landing actuator, burst in hose's bend radii. Hydraulic fluid escaped from hydraulic system through the breach in the affected flexible hydraulic hose. The left and right main landing gears were able to lower and lock "down" into place. The nose landing gear was able to extend but not able to "lock down" into the down position. The aircraft landed resulting in the nose landing gear collapsing causing minimal damage to the aircraft's nose fairing and nose landing gear doors.

As the FAA filed it

THE NOSE LANDING GEAR WAS ABLE TO EXTEND BUT NOT ABLE TO "LOCK DOWN" INTO THE DOWN POSITION. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED RESULTING IN THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSING CAUSING MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT'S NOSE FAIRING AND NOSE LANDING GEAR DOORS.
