From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The student pilot was conducting his 3rd touch and go landing approach to this runway. The touchdown was normal, and the student advanced the throttle for takeoff. As the aircraft neared 50MPH, it started to drift left. The pilot attempted to correct, but the drift continued. The pilot elected to close the throttle instead of continuing with the takeoff. The aircraft pulled even harder to the left after throttle reduction. The aircraft left the runway, striking a runway light. The pilot got the aircraft back under control and taxied to parking. The prop and the nose wheel cowling were damaged, but the pilot was uninjured.
