What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Mr. Gene auwen and his wife (passenger) privacy data omitted were landing at the Camilla airport for refueling when the aircraft flipped over after landing. There were skid marks on the runway, apparently from the right main tire. Pilot stated that the left brake locked, causing the aircraft to flip over. The airport manager (A&P and IA) and I jacked the aircraft and checked the brakes and main landing gear wheels and noticed that the left wheel was binding but the brakes were functioning normally. The bearings and races appeared to be in satisfactory condition, however the grease was old and it appears that the bearings were not lubed or greased during the last annual inspection.
As the FAA filed it
(-23) MR. GENE AUWEN AND HIS WIFE (PASSENGER) ^PRIVACY DATA O^ WERE LANDING AT THE CAMILLA AIRPORT FOR REFUELING WHEN THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED OVER AFTER LANDING.
