From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The mishap pilot was attempting to land at his family's Private airstrip which is approximately 2500 feet in length. The strip is oriented north/south and consists of approx. 600 feet of concrete at the north end then transitions to chat, a fine gravel, then turns into grass. The pilot stated that he was approaching from the south at approx. 70 KTS and touched down approx. 300 feet down. Skid marks at the touchdown point then indicate that the main wheels were not turning and continue for approx. 100 feet where 13 prop strikes were observed. Skid marks continue north down the runway for approx. 50 feet where the nose impacted the runway causing the aircraft to turn upside down and continue in a straight line northerly where it came toa rest on its back facing south. The pilot egressed the aircraft with minor injuries and bruises. (-23 amendment) this form has been amended to reflect the correct registration number as being 19CK.
