From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) During a touch and go operation at rnt rwy 33 the pilot requested a full stop landing. After a short landing the pilot requested to proceed with his takeoff from his position. The aircraft was moving at a walking pace when the tower controller acknowledged with "expedite take-off"... Other traffic was in the pattern. The pilot grabbed and moved the landing gear handle instead of the throttle in his haste. The nose gear and the right main gear collapsed. The propeller struck the pavement. The rwy was closed until the aircraft was lifted and pushed clear of the rwy. One pax was on board with the pilot. No injuries reported.
