From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot was cleared for ILS approach rwy 20 at Concord airport (jqf). Pilot stated that as he transitioned into the flare, he felt the airplane sink abnormally and at that time pushed the throttle full forward to initiate a go-around. At the same time he pushed the throttle in he heard a scrapping noise as the aircraft began to climb. After using the emergency gear extension to lower the gear the pilot landed with no problems and taxied to the ramp. This office inspected the aircraft and found that the prop along with the step by the door on the left side contacted the ground during the first landing attempt. privacy data omitted

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^
