From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On October 20, 2003, about 1500 central standard time, a navion aircraft, N4808K, sustained minor damage as a result of the main landing gear failure during the landing rollout on runway 23 at the Hot Springs memorial airport, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Subsequent investigation disclosed that the scissor link assembly, part number 145-33107, had fractured during this operation causing the right main wheel to toe in. The landing rollout with the wheel in this configuration caused the main trunion to fail and the gear collapsed. When the right wing finally came down and contacted the runway, the aircraft veered off to the right, the aircraft went off the runway, hit the grass, and spun 180 degrees. The PIC and passenger were not injured and the only property damage was a runway light that was hit by the right leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer.
