What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Pilot stated he was doing takeoffs and landings at Pennridge Airport (N70), Perkasie, PA, with a passenger on board. On the final landing, pilot thought he had checked the cockpit landing gear indicators and they were down. The pilot's wife on the ground said she thought the gear doors were open, but the gear was not down. Landing gear was up and the pilot did not know it. As a result, he landed gear-up.
