From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On nov. 11, 2003 at approximately 1725HRS the aircraft departed swf in route to bbi. On climbout the engines started to overheat and lose power. The aircraft returned to swf and landed without incident. After a investigation it was discovered that the FBO (cas handling inc) had improperly fueled the aircraft with 20 gals. Of jet a fuel. This aircraft was fueled by a fueler that had no documentation that he was trained in fueling aircraft. He had no training record that proved that he meets the requirements in FAR 139.321 (e)(1)(2).
