(-23) On December 20, 2003 at about 10:59 am central time a Bell 206-B N62HF, struck a guide wire between two power poles, with the aft end of the tail boom, while landing in a field next to an automobile dealership in Henryetta, OK. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed and no flight plan was filed. The helicopter struck the guide wire on the aft portion of the tail boom, just forward of the lower vertical stabilizer and cut into the stabilizer about ten inches from the rear. The tail rotor struck the tail rotor with only about four inches of rotor blade still on the hub. The helicopter came to a rest on the front of the skids with the tail hanging from the guide. The pilot and two passengers were on board with no injuries. The helicopter had substantial damage, to the aft portion of the tail boom fin, and tail rotor blades. One main rotor blade had a hole through it about 14 inches inboard from the end.
