From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) At FL390, flight crew observed (and felt) the cabin alittude increasing. The crew initiated an emergency procedure, declared an emergency with ATC, and notified them it was necessary to descend. ATC issued a 20 degree heading change; however, N81TT'S rate of descent was greater than anticipated, and a loss of IFR separation occurred with another acft (2.8 NM and 1,100 feet). After cabin pressure stabilized at approximately 7,800 feet, the crew requested a clearance to lincoln, NE. A telephone call was also made to a service center in minneapolis, MN (msp). The flight was then re-routed to msp. An inspection found that a flex coupling had separated from the ecs plenum, and the part was replaced. Incident privacy data omitted is closed with this report. Loss of pressurization.

As the FAA filed it

INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA OMI^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT. LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION.
