From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Swia N958SW was taxiing to gate 86 via taxiway "b" and "C6". After turning left onto taxiway "C6" the captain saw a united airlines pick up truck on service road "c" heading towards the aircraft approximately 45 mph. The driver was using a cell phone and did not appear to see the aircraft. The captain immediately applied brakes to stop the aircraft, at this point the pick up truck driver saw the aircraft and made a hard left turn attempting to avoid a collision with the aircraft. The right aft side of pick up trucks cab, struck the aircraft at the mid wing leading edge of the port wing, and the pick up truck bed area went under the wing, damaging the two outboard flap actuator housings.
