From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) While enroute to clt, pilot noticed low bus volts annunciator illuminated. Pilot referenced the operating handbook and followed the emergency procedures. He was unable to regain adequate power, so he shut off the battery main to conserve remaining power. Pilot turned power back on 38 NM of clt. Pilot contacted clt approach and informed them of his condition. Pilot attempted to lower gear with switch but did not have sufficient power. Pilot then followed procedure for manual extension. Pilot requested the tower for a visual of his gear. Tower informed pilot that gear appeared to be down. After landing and rolling out, nose gear collapsed.
