The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) The pilot was flying the GPS approach into Lincolnton regional airport (ipj) and had completed the checklist up to putting the landing gear down. He was using the checklist programmed into the GPS display and switched back to the approach mode so he could fly the approach. He did not switch back to the checklist mode to complete the remainder of the landing checklist. He forgot to put the landing gear down and landed the aircraft with the landing gear retracted. He stated that he did not remember hearing the landing gear horn when he went to full flaps.
