From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft is owned by a flying club. Pilot in command performed landing on runway 17 @ Cloquet, MN from RH seat. LH seat occupied by co-member and rated pilot who was no landing current. Pilot stated that brakes were not responding and that aircraft started to drift to RH side of runway after touchdown. Aircraft departed runway at shallow angle approximately 1100 feet from landing threshold, entered 3-4 inch snow-pack and overturned onto top. Damage to aircraft limited to broken communication antenna over wing and the flashing beacon, plastic top cap on vertical stabilizer. No injuries to either occupant occurred. Aircraft lifted by crane and up-righted. A check of RH and LH pilots brakes displayed travel discrepancy between the two with the RH set requiring significant travel to engage.
