From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Damage to the left wing localized to just the wing tip, with no structural damage to the wing. Boarding stairs were improperly located by the marshaller and were extending out of the defined parking location designated for the boarding stairs. The area of contact is not visible to the captain. No wing walkers were used and none are required by the C2XA ground handling manual. There were no injuries and no evacuation of passengers. This incident has been referred to the asap coordinator.
