What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) On June 3, 2004, at 1800 CDT, an air tractor, AT-502B, N6068H, had just touched down/landed when air tractor, AT-502B, N5002D, landed on top on N6068H, near Weldon, Arkansas, on a private grass and asphalt runway. N6068H had executed a straight-in approach while N5002D executed a right hand base-to-final constantly turning approach to the same runway. N6068H had just touched down and N5002D landed on top of N6068H, thus N5002D'S propeller cut off the tail of N6068H (N5002D was unable to see N6068H due to having the left wing raised during the right hand turning approach). There were no injuries to either pilot. Air tractor N6068H sustained substantial damage and N5002D only had significant propeller damage. The aircraft were being operated by Weldon flying service, LLC, under FAR part 137 when the accident occurred. The flights originated at the departure airstrip and VFR conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. No flight plan was filed for either aircraft.
