From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft was loaded with 1600LBS of fertilizer and was taking off to the south on a dirt runway. Pilot was approaching 65 mph, when the right hand main wheel and tire separated from the aircraft. Propeller struck the ground several times, causing the aircraft to flip over and came to rest facing north. Inspectors found brake attachment clip approx 270 feet from aircraft wreckage on the runway. The right hand wheel and the assy. Still had the aircraft axle attached. The three attachment bolts that secure the axle shaft to the right hand spring gear had sheared off. Two of the three bolts showed signs of corrosion, before shearing.
