From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The right seat occupant indicated the pilot initiated the takeoff on runway 17. She stated the aircraft stayed in ground effect after lift off and the pilot was pointing to the airspeed indicator which was indicating about 60 mph. The aircraft drifted to the right of the runway followed by the right wing dropping causing the wing to impact the ground. She indicated the engine was developing full power until impact. Due to the pilot's fatal injuries some information was not obtainable for the report. Should the information become available this report will be amended.
