From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated that on final approach he had been distracted by an aircraft that landed in front of him when he had expected the aircraft to land behind him. When he crossed the end of the runway, he neglected to lower the landing gear. The aircraft made initial contact with the runway approximately 190 feet from the touchdown zone markings on runway 36. There were several prop strike marks for 65 feet. The aircraft then slid on its belly for approximately 587 feet.
