From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) During a visual approach to runway 25 at Watertown, new York (kart) the aircraft touched down normally. However, after touchdown the crew had difficulty deploying the ground spoilers. The crewmembers stated that they utilized both reverse thrust and maximum braking, however, were unable to stop the aircraft on the runway. The aircraft struck a runway end identifier light and came to rest with the main gear approximately 3 feet off the end of the pavement and the aircraft near the left hand edge (south side) of the runway.
