From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The landing gear was fully up with all doors closed and flaps full down when the airplane came to rest. The pilot stated that on the second attempted landing he had initiated a go around and immediately thereafter the airplane was forced to the ground. The airplane came to a stop at approximately 1000 feet down the runway and approximately twenty feet to the left of the runway. A check of the landing gear system at the site revealed no malfunction but normal opertion of the gear retraction system.
