From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot was making a no flap landing on runway 24 at the Allentown bethlehem easton airport (abe). On making a no flap landing, the pilot completed her pre-landing check and stated that she did have a green light on the panel indicating that the landing gear was in the down position. On landing, the gear was not down and the aircraft sustained damage to the propeller and undercarriage. A retraction test was done after the incident, and the gear worked properly. The test was witnessed by an airworthiness inspector from the Allentown FSDO.
