From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On a normal approach to landing to the west off of the GPS arrival, the pilot noticed the snow had been plowed. He focused on the size and location of the snow banks thinking that he was going to damage his flaps upon landing if they hit. After landing, the pilot noticed he was in fact in the grass area between the runway and taxiway and in an attempt to correct, the left tire momentarily rode onto the taxiway and then back into the grass. The aircraft came to rest facing north between the runway and taxiway.
