From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) After local flight pilot stopped at FBO turn off aircraft. Aircraft was refueled by FBO. Pilot then taxied aircraft to hangar. The nose of the aircraft was facing the big hangar door. The aircraft was 12 foot from the hangar. The pilot let the passenger out from the back seat on the left hand side of the aircraft. The passenger was supposed to walk down to the end of the wing then walk up to the hangar. The passenger would walk along the hangar in front of the aircraft to the hangar door on the right side of the aircraft. In this procedure there would be 10 feet between the pilot and the passenger. This time as the passenger was walking down the wing the passenger remembered that the pilot still had the keys and went back to get the keys, after getting the keys the passenger walked around the strut and into the propeller. Letter of warning was sent to pilot through the streamline administrative action process.
