From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft experienced gusty winds on approach and could not maintain alignment to runway 33. A go around was executed and a decision to land on runway 15 was made. The aircraft touched down within 200 feet of threshold to the right of centerline. Heavy braking was evident by skid marks for 2,000 feet when left tire blew and the aircraft departed the runway to the left side. The left propeller and left wheel struck a runway light before the aircraft came to a complete stop on the grass adjacent to the runway. The left brake assembly and propeller were damaged. No injuries. Canadian pilot info: privacy data omitted
