From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) This is the captain's report: flt 1140 (ac#490) departed rwy 35R @ cos. Tow 124000. Wx was VFR, 107 pax, f/o's leg. T/o roll was normal. At approx. vw+10 and 150 feet, right engine began compressor stalling followed by strong burning rubber smell. Disconnected auto throttles and retarded right engine to idle. Declared emergency and entered right downwind for rwy 35R. Landing gear remained extended. Asked twr to check rw for FOD and tire debris was found on rwy. Rwy 35R was closed and we were cleared to land 35L. On final, twr reported right main gear appeared intact and landing and rollout was uneventful. Ac airborne for 7 minutes. ARFF met ac and confirmed #4 tire damage and hydraulic fluid leaking from right brake assembly. No smoke or fire from right engine. Rwy 35L closed. Attempted to contact cos operations for maintenance and tow via radio and phone with no success. Contacted dispatch with event info and asked for help with contacting cos. Eventually contacted cos gate agent at home via a deadheading pilot's cell phone. Contacted tulsa maint. For ac inspection and towing instructions.
