From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On may 28, 2005, at approximately 11:15 am, the pilot privacy data omitted, as PIC of N6366Y, a Cessna CE-210, was rolling out after landing on runway 35 at smith center, KS (K81), a non-towered airport. N9886P, a Piper PA-25 flown by the pilot privacy data omitted, was rolling out after landing on runway 14. N6366Y was the only aircraft equipped with radio capabilities. The two aircraft collided at the intersection of runway 14 and runway 35 resulting in substantial damage to N6366Y, a Cessna 210. N9886P received minor scrapes to bottom of the right wing. The weather was VFR with some reduced visibility in the area due to scattered rain showers. The right wing of N9886P passed under the right main wing of the CE-210 N6366Y and on top of the right horizontal stabilizer forcing the spar downward resulting in a wrinkling of the skin and a damaged spar.
