(-23) The pilot stated: that on Sunday may 29, 2005 at approximately 2208 CDT he was executing a "go-around" when the power was applied, "an increase in engine power was quickly followed by an abnormal noise and loss of engine power". The aircraft came to rest across a road in a woods at the north side of 63C causing substantial damage to the aircraft. There were no injuries as a result of this accident.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED: THAT ON SUNDAY MAY 29, 2005 AT APPROXIMATELY 2208 CDT HE WAS EXECUTING A "GO-AROUND" WHEN THE POWER WAS APPLIED, "AN INCREASE IN ENGINE POWER WAS QUICKLY FOLLOWED BY AN ABNORMAL NOISE AND LOSS OF ENGINE POWER". THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ACROSS A ROAD IN A WOODS AT THE NORTH SIDE OF 63C CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AS A RESULT OF THIS ACCIDENT.
