What happened

(-23) During takeoff the aircraft lost power, descended into a fence at the end of the runway and came to a stop. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the wings, landing gear, prop, and right hand elevator. The pilot who was the sole occupant was not injured.

(-23) DURING TAKEOFF THE AIRCRAFT LOST POWER, DESCENDED INTO A FENCE AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND CAME TO A STOP. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE WINGS, LANDING GEAR, PROP, AND RIGHT HAND ELEVATOR. THE PILOT WHO WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT WAS NOT INJURED.
